Position Overview

This position is accountable for developing the strategies and long term vision for Provider Network reimbursement and network reporting functions. The role is directly responsible for the implementation and oversight of PacificSource s Provider Network Enterprise contract analysis reimbursement and network reporting. It is also responsible for providing a wide range of support and critical judgment and decision making. The Manager will oversee a team of reimbursement and reporting analysts and will be responsible for the oversight of capitation reporting and payment data auditing oversight contract implementation auditing oversight ensuring timely release of all regular and off schedule fee schedules network financial analysis and routine network analysis and reporting. As a key contributor to PacificSource s core strategy of establishing and maintaining strong provider partnerships and relationships the Manager is also responsible for advancing continuous improvement projects to identify and advance accuracy and improve processes.

Essential Responsibilities

* Lead develop and maintain continuous improvement strategies and best practices to promote analysis and reporting effectiveness and efficiency.

* Engage in problem solving initiatives including internal work teams and engagements with external provider entities.

* Engage in internal workstreams pertaining to strategic initiatives which including Facets reimbursement systems Quest network adequacy IT requests and the need to connect analysis and reimbursement strategies to critical company initiatives.

* Develop policies and procedures related to capitation invoicing reporting various payment methodologies and others as needed.

* Review audits data make decisions on investigation of questionable ambiguous data and communicate to various leadership teams monthly via capitation spreadsheets to ensure timely and accurate payments of capitation and network fee payments.

* Oversee network adequacy analysis and reporting across lines of business.

* Provide leadership coaching training and resource support to analyst and reporting staff related to performance of required responsibilities.

* Staff and or support leadership committees workgroups and leadership teams to advance continuous improvement.

* Collaborate with Programs Service Contracting and Operations team members on topics that pertain to provider satisfaction provider concerns and contributing to satisfaction and reliability for all provider reimbursement functions.

* Other duties as assigned.

SUCCESS PROFILE

Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in insurance provider organization or related area is required. Minimum of 2 years experience managing staff required. Relevant experience in the following areas preferred: Provider network capitation value based contracts data management reporting and continuous improvement.

Education Certificates Licenses: Bachelor s degree required.

Knowledge: Training and experience in staff management required. Project management and continuous improvement experience required. Excellent public relations presentation and interpersonal skills required. Demonstrated successful communication skills including public presentation training and meeting facilitation. Math skills required including percentages ratios graphing. Demonstrated skills with the following software: Microsoft Word PowerPoint Excel.
