Creating complex mixed signal RF Analog digital sections in a single PCB and multi layer PCB layout using the latest technologies i e BGA s micro vias stacked micro via high speed high voltage analog multi board design and controlled impedance boards.

Responsible for interfacing with electrical mechanical and manufacturing engineering disciplines to ensure that the overall design requirements are captured and accomplished Assist in the design of the vehicle system architecture Create and manage PCB documentation including fabrication and assembly packages such as Gerber ODB BOM fabrication and assembly drawings Support Supply Chain with vendor selection and evaluation Design of wire harnesses for Arcimoto s vehicles Maintain and manage parts library Completion of assigned projects on time and on budget Set up PCB design rule checks validating and addressing rule violations and warnings Analysis of test data and reports to verify design against functional and performance requirements All other duties assigned REQUIRED COMPETENCIES SKILLS Extensive experience with schematic design tools and design languages Experience with PCB design tools preferably KiCAD or Altium Experience with component and circuit modeling and simulation tools Spice Experience with testing tools and protocols JTAG Experience with multimeters oscilloscopes bus analyzers and protocol analyzers Experience with statistical analysis and statistical languages R Must be well organized and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Able to coach Engineer I staff Able to concurrently handle multiple projects Able to work as part of a team and development modules that work in a system Able to work independently Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Applications software Must be willing to work more than 40 hours per week periodically to complete the job Ability to use COTS hardware where available and appropriate and develop hardware from scratch otherwise Strong understanding of engineering specifications of components.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s Degree in electronics electrical engineering and or equivalent in experience 4 years related experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Technical PCB design skills using the Altium Designer toolset Familiarity with automotive PCB design standard i e IPC A 610 Experience designing layouts with rigid flex and rigid flex assemblies Working experience considering automotive EMC EMI requirements for PCB layout design.
