Essential Duties Responsibilities: Includes the following though other duties may be assigned

-> Assists Facilities Manager in day to day operations.

-> Trains and assists facility volunteers.

-> Oversees commercial laundry.

-> Ensures linens are stocked.

-> Assists with kitchen and pantry to maintain standards to comply with restaurant license.

-> Assists with serving meals.

-> Supervises chores on occasion.

-> Ensures donations are processed and area kept clean safe and organized.

-> Organizes and maintains clothing rooms.

-> Organizes and maintains hygiene rooms.

-> Works with donation drives including interacting and communicating with donors.

-> Assists with housekeeping needs.

-> Assists in stocking janitorial closets.

-> Assists with on and off site storage management and needs.

-> Assists in writing SOPs and implementing them.

-> Assists program staff as needed.

-> Assists in organizational events where needed.

-> Ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment.

-> Compliance with fire and safety codes including fire drills.

-> Assists in putting up taking down and storing holiday decorations.

-> Able to lift 25 lbs.

-> Able to climb a ladder.

-> Valid driver s license.

-> Attend a staff meeting once a month outside normal work hours.

Minimum Qualifications: Qualifications applicant must possess in order to be considered for the position possible exception if an applicant possesses appropriate substitute qualifications Demonstrated ability to work independently. Ability to appropriately assess a situation and take corrective action as necessary. Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specific procedure. Ability to write and speak clearly and concisely. Familiarity with basic computer programs such as Word Excel and Power Point. High degree of discretion excellent judgment.

Preferred Qualifications: Qualifications which are desired in applicants however applicants without these qualifications will not necessarily be excluded from consideration if they possess minimum qualifications. Basic familiarity with a commercial kitchen. Knowledge of commercial kitchen appliance. Reliable automobile transportation and a valid Oregon Driver s License and insurance.
