* We are looking for an experienced Assistant Plant Manager who will be responsible for providing direction and support for approximately thirty five 35 plant operation team members.
-> Reporting to the Plant Manager you will be accountable for plant operations to achieve results identified by the Corporation s Win Strategy. In conjunction with the Plant Manager leads a team of empowered team members to continuously achieve and exceed customer expectations.
-> Leads with a Purpose. Purpose helps us prepare for future changes while staying focused on the unique role our team members play to improve lives and create a better tomorrow. Able to build relationships at all levels shop floor to Corporate teams is essential to being successful in this role.
* Safety: Proactively address safety items from team members by working with a team to address root cause and build a safety first culture.
-> Quality: Create and implement quality plans to achieve the levels of quality established through organizational goals customer expectations related stakeholders and market competition.
-> Delivery: Establishes and maintains premier customer service at all times. Ensures the plant has the right balance of inventory production control scheduling shipping receiving logistics and quality procedures in place.
-> Cost: Profitably grow the Plant and achieve goals measured weekly monthly quarterly and annually. Leads Manufacturing functions to ensure operational efficiency and economy. Develops a budget plan and manages Plant within budget constraints.
-> Engagement: Drive lean initiatives by leveraging the Parker tool box such as implementation of kaizen events and HPTs. Foster an environment of continuous improvement empowerment and engagement. Provides leadership by promoting team concepts coaching counseling retaining mentoring training talent management and individual development. Drives a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management.
-> Profitably grow the business and achieve goals measured weekly monthly quarterly and annually. Work with internal and external customers to promote and leverage company technologies systems products services and processes.
-> Works on special projects with Corporate Division and the locations functional departments including the ability to support multiple shifts and weekends when required.
* Bachelor s Degree Preferably in a technical or business related field
-> Five 5 or more years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
-> Demonstrated experience with lean methodology and effective problem solving
-> One 1 or more years of plant leadership or directly managing others
-> Strong Values Competencies in team building conflict resolution skills project management organization planning and oral written communication. Ability to adapt quickly to a variety of priorities.
-> Preferred: Advance Degree and continuous learning certifications
