The HR Generalist III is a key member of the Instrument and Enterprise Services HR team supporting the North America s Instrument Services Team This role will be responsible for Field Service Engineers in partnership with the HR Business Partners supporting the respective businesses The role will also support hiring and on boarding initiatives as well as various project work The ideal candidate for this role will have experience supporting colleagues in a field based business in addition to strong project management skills.
Counsel and or coach employees and supervisors regarding employee relations issues including performance management facilitation of formal informal complaints to resolution discipline and or terminations in line with company policies and legal practices Develops robust talent management plans and drives change initiatives by partnering with managers to attract retain develop and engage talent in critical roles Manages the partnership with talent acquisition including job requisition management sourcing and diversity strategies Executes HR processes i e Human Resources Review talent reviews and succession planning Performance Management and Development PMD etc within a matrix organization and partners with site leaders and managers for implementing agreed outcomes Keeps informed of local market and competitive trends and leverages these insights to develop appropriate HR strategies and solutions Fosters a One Team HR approach by collaborating with Talent Compensation Benefits and Human Resources Business Partners to drive continuous improvement of our colleague experience and enhance our employee value proposition Ensures appropriate communications training and change management programs are executed to successfully deploy new and or expanded HR services and processes and drive leader standard work Systematically identifies opportunities for continuous process improvement and proposes innovative solutions to operate in an efficient and cost effective manner.
Bachelor s degree Human Resources generalist from a large multi national company with 3 5 years of progressive experience preferably supporting field based remote colleagues Demonstrated experience leveraging data and analytics translating data points into a congruent story to influence business decisions Experience as a trusted advisor to senior management on business issues and business strategy with the ability to link human resources as a driver and influencer of business performance Comprehensive HR experience including a complete understanding of and hands on exposure to the full mix of HR functions and navigating in a matrix ed environment Self motivated with a bias for action Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to use a high level of tact diplomacy discretion and empathy understanding in a diverse work environment Experience with Process Improvement approaches Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma Practical Process Improvement etc Must demonstrate and drive the values Integrity Intensity Innovation and Involvement The Four I s.
