Develops improves monitors and troubleshoots new and existing manufacturing processes for diffractive optics components fabricated using semiconductor tools Performs statistical process control yield analysis capacity capability modeling Manages assembly process and optical test custom and commercial tools through initial specification qualification routine calibration preventive maintenance and troubleshooting Authors and updates process and test documentation work instructions for technicians Provides technical RMA RTV analysis presents results to customers implements corrective action Contributes to new product introduction through prototype and qualification builds providing NPI reports Manages product development stages in Agile product lifecycle software Devises plans and necessary steps to successfully accomplish assigned projects Works in a quantitative analytical methodical fashion to routinely identify solutions and implement corrective actions to a wide range of manufacturing process metrology and quality problems.
BS plus 2 5 years experience MA with 0 3 years experience Science or engineering discipline preferred Relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of academic requirements.
Optical device manufacturing Semiconductor fabrication methods patterning etching deposition surface preparation cleaning direct bonding polishing dicing etc Optical and morphological metrology Automated or manual optical performance test inspection optical microscope techniques thin film measurement SEM WLI Background in knowledge of optics a plus Excellent communication skills Statistical data analysis process control Ability to acquire expertise in new skill areas independently using resources external to site Solid track record of leadership and accomplishments Strong interpersonal teaming and problem solving skills Work effectively with other members of II VI.
Class 100 cleanroom R D lab regular office environment.
