About the Accounting Team.

The accounting team is responsible for proactively overseeing the entire payment process This includes maintaining positive vendor relations and effectively managing cash flow.

About the Position.

This position primarily involves matching shipping documents to invoices and entering for payment This process requires a significant amount of problem solving and researching of discrepancies Will need to effectively communicate with vendors store personnel and other office staff to resolve problems efficiently and in a timely May also be asked to perform other duties in support of the accounting department.

Qualifications.

Include but are not limited to.

An excellent record for attendance and performance Ability to set priorities and organize workload Strong initiative with accuracy and commitment a must Ability to produce results under pressure and within deadlines Operate 10 key Computer skills to enter data at 40 60 WPM Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel Professional telephone skills and exceptional customer service Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Ability to work effectively as part of a team Must be reliable dedicated and disciplined.

Experience.

1 to 2 years prior experience with basic accounting is preferred .
